I’m using the common definition which includes hebephilia - presumably puberty to 18 in most places.
a) a person does not become a pedophile, they merely don't change a sexual interest as they age, and they cannot unbecome one
b) no one sane would choose to become a pedophile in a society that views them as monsters, and being sane is also not a choice
d) we should not punish people for that which they cannot control
e) pedophilia is a preference, not an act, and is not harmful to anyone
f) there's nothing inherently harmful about sex and the risks can be meditated without censure or shame for anyone
g) if having anything to do with sex below a certain age was inherently dangerous, the correct way to deal with it would be to introduce children to the concept of sex at an early age, then guide them through becoming intellectually and emotionally sexually mature by a knowledgeable teacher, then testing them practically for readiness to make their own decisions
h) children are typically sexualised by nature, whether or not they are sexualised by culture, they are sexual beings
i) pedophiles are sexually attracted to children, not sadistically attracted to children, most would protect them as as a parent would, notwithstanding the topic in question
j) viewing pornography can relieve sexual tension, such as helping a sexual pervert of any variety to control harmful urges
k) any act that is not inherently harmful can be done safely and should not endure unnecessary restriction
l) possession of anything other than perhaps nuclear material is not inherently harmful to anyone else
m) restricting or punishing anything which does not harm or endanger another creature is tyranny, which is always more harmful to more people in the long run than whatever is being punished
