Cities should require pyramidal architecture for all megastructures:
•maximize sunlight availablity for the rest of the city while minimizing view-blocking
•optimal capture of sun and water and easily terraced
•easily integrated with existing transportation infrastructure by simply bridging it
•optimum use of space by putting storage, ie warehouses and parking in the center while the outer walls prioritize people, nature, and views
•businesses will be concentrated at the bottom with easiest access while homes will be concentrated at the top for privacy, noise reduction, and views
•extremely sturdy and efficient from an engineering perspective, incl. access to upper levels, earthquake resistant
•iconic design which is both formally similar in all cases but easily customizable for diversity and aesthetic appeal
•natural arcologies and transportation hubs
