enabling inclusion and diversity in intentional communities
Together agreeing with these basic principles enable anyone rational to a) fit in with minimal compromise or effort, unless and until disagreements actually result in conflict :inclusion, meanwhile b) maximizing potential for consensus :diversity.
People are intentionally expected and required to interpret these rules for themselves so that their involvement requires responsibility and communication.
You must agree:
1) to not cause harm :ethical minimum
2) to carry your own weight plus a little :sustainability
3) to improve things in some way amenable to all :improvement, community-building
4) to participate in consensus building, starting by indicating your level of concurrence with current community standards :sustainability.
This might be done with a minimal red/disagree yellow/explanation needed green/agree. Yellows req. communication and Reds req. a dialectic process.
5) Additional agreements must be through consensus :maximize freedom.
